Pelvic Floor Therapy

At Practical Pelvis, we focus on restoring function, coordination, and comfort of the muscles that support your bladder, bowel, and reproductive organs. We go beyond Kegels and basic exercises by combining hands-on assessment, individualized movement strategies, neuromuscular re-education, and education to help you reconnect with and understand your body. Postpartum Recovery

Postpartum recovery is about so much more than “bouncing back.” We provide personalized, comprehensive care to help your body regain strength, stability, and comfort after birth. Our approach supports your return to daily activities, exercise, and caregiving while addressing body awareness, fatigue, and the mental load of early parenthood. Our goal is to help you feel strong, supported, and confident.

Telehealth

Our telehealth and virtual wellness services provide flexible, expert support for individuals who want guidance from the comfort of home. Sessions focus on restoring strength, movement, and confidence while offering personalized strategies to support your health and wellness. Through movement assessments, tailored exercise programs, education, and coaching, we help you better understand and care for your body—wherever you are.

Dry Needling

Dry needling is an evidence-based technique used to reduce muscle tension, improve mobility, and relieve pain by targeting myofascial trigger points. It may help with pelvic floor muscle tension, chronic pelvic pain, low back or hip pain, SI joint dysfunction, sciatica, and muscle guarding related to pregnancy or postpartum recovery.

Dry needling will be integrated into a comprehensive treatment plan alongside movement, manual therapy, and education to support lasting relief. Coming soon to our North Carolina location.

Online Programs

We offer self-paced online programs and courses designed for individuals who want expert guidance from the comfort of home. Each program provides evidence-based strategies to support strength, movement, and overall well-being, and includes personalized, on-demand 1:1 support from one of our expert therapists. While virtual learning may not replace in-person care for every situation, it offers an accessible, flexible, and effective option for many clients seeking knowledgeable, compassionate support.
